However, I did not want to fuss with Hat’s modded ACR controller that goes with the age mod because I did still want fertility for females to stop at the same time as in the un-tweaked mod. So, basically, this means lopping days off the elder stage and giving them to the adults instead. I wanted to futz with this a bit, so I changed things so that Sims don’t become elders in Hat’s aging scheme until they are 70 years/280 days old. Meaning, lots of elders running around even though a good chunk of those “elders” aren’t really all that old. For realism purposes, this makes some degree of sense, but from a practical playing standpoint, it tends to create neighborhoods that are visually age-skewed. However, it has a very long elder stage that begins when Sims are only 46 years/184 days old. To sum up a long post I already made, I like to use Hat’s Gestation-Proportional Age Mod when I want a slowly-moving, relaxing neighborhood to play.
